In line with its mission to train researchers and disseminate the latest oncology topics among oncologists, residents, postgraduate students, and other healthcare professionals, the Teaching and Research Institute of the Barretos Cancer Hospital (IEP) will host the IX International Symposium on Translational Oncology of the Barretos Cancer Hospital. The event aims to foster discussion and interaction between the target audience and nationally and internationally recognized researchers who conduct their work at centers of excellence in various fields of oncology, contributing to the consolidation and improvement of translational medicine and clinical research in oncology both nationally and internationally.

The IEP is part of the Barretos Cancer Hospital and encompasses the Molecular Oncology Research Center (CPOM), Clinical Research Unit (UPC), and the Graduate Program in Oncology, which are the foundations for the development of the future of oncology and precision medicine at the institution.
